This outstanding feature in Lake Oswego, Oregon, was one of our most challenging projects. The homeowners’ backyard dropped off sharply. It had to be raised up with several layers of concrete blocks and truckloads of sandy loam.
We worked the feature around existing mature trees and landscape to give it that timeless look.
Our careful attention to detail on the new plantings surrounding the water feature landed us in the 2008 edition of Water Gardens magazine. The article is titled “Choosing Plants – Don’t Overwhelm the Water Feature With Too Many Plants.”
