This was the third project Jim did for us, and the results exceeded our expectations, as usual. We recently downsized to a small home that had a small side yard consisting of an aggregate patio and lots of wood chips. We wanted to install the same paver patio Jim had done for us at our former house, along with a pergola and water feature to make the side yard more conducive to family enjoyment and entertainment. Jim worked with us with recommendations to make our idea a reality, and (once we received HOA approval), worked quickly to finish the project. Jim is a very hands-on guy… he was here everyday with his helper, and always took the time to let us know how things were progressing. Since he had leftover pavers, he expanded the patio for no extra charge. The project was completed on time, and we have been enjoying it ever since. The pergula is natural-stained cedar, and the custom water feature provides the perfect ambiance that we were looking for. Another thing one should know is that Jim goes out of his way to be as non-impactful as possible with his equipment so far as one’s neighbors are concerned. He was mindful to have everything moved on our garbage collection day, and I had neighbors tell me they appreciated his not blocking our access road during construction. Several of our neighbors have subsequently stopped by to see the finished results, and have been impressed with the overall quality of the workmanship. A great investment that will give us many years of enjoyment. Thanks again, Jim and Carol!
Bill and Rachel K. of Lake Oswego, OR have been working with us since 2007, where they met us at the Yard, Garden and Patio show.
We designed and built a natural style water feature which they just loved.
2 years later they hired us back to install a new irrigation system.
In 2014, after they both retired, and decided to stay in the home they have been living for years, the next project was to further develop the backyard. We added over 120 flagstone steps leading to a stone patio with a sitting bench out of the Highland Retaining Wall Block.
Our recent project was to replace an old tired concrete driveway, with Urbana Stone pavers. This difficult project required a permit from the city with tight restrictions. It all paid off as they now have the most attractive driveway on the block!
Our clients near Forest Grove, OR had an area excavated out in hopes for eventually installing a stream and pond.
They put off the project for a few years to locate just the right company.
After viewing our web-site and portfolio, they decided we were the right company for the job. Not only were we close to them but we have completed over 150 water features since 1997.
They planned to have their wedding in August, 2014, and decided to have the reception located on their country property. The new feature was perfectly located where guests could sit and enjoy!
“Jim had the stream running when I pulled up today, very amazing. Couldn’t be happier…”
“Everything looks great!”
Carol A. of Beaverton, OR saw our web-site and knew immediately that she wanted us for the job.
She lived in a small town home setting and had a concrete slab patio with 2 steps that were not user friendly. Our solution was to remove the steps, install pavers using the Britewood Camino cobble with a Rotundo Circle system in the same color. We installed over the existing concrete slab, and build 2 ramps, replacing the steps. She loved the idea, Not only is the area a safer place for her to walk on, but also the Britewood color livens up the formerly dark area.

Our client had us build a dramatic water feature and large pond back in the fall of 2013. She was very impressed with our creativity and professionalism, she hired us back in January to replace her slippery old deck with the Lafit Rustic Slab pavers. Now she has an attractive non-skid, low maintenance surface that will last her a lifetime. Here is a comment from our client: ” I am sooooo impressed with your work ethic! It’s so refreshing 🙂 ”
Clients had a landscape plan for their back yard. It was recommended to use natural stone over the top of an existing concrete slab. When we met with them to consult about their project, we suggested they choose pavers over the natural stone to save on cost. This attractive circular paver patio design in Hillsboro, Oregon, gives the yard a whole new look.
We are forthcoming with re-designing and recommending money-saving options to our potential customers. As a company that is owner-operated we can offer an unbiased professional opinion as we are not committed to any specific type of product.
“The step looks great and we LOVE everything you’ve done. Thanks”
